Millionaire Boy Genius Plans to Launch Young Entrepreneurs University
Four years ago, Jaylen Bledsoe became an Internet sensation when his IT company was reportedly valued at $3.5 million.
He achieved success in building a website design business when he was just 14, inspiring business camps in St. Louis and Dallas for teenagers, and developing the Jaylen D. Bledsoe Global Group.Now, Bledsoe, 17, is ready to motivate more teens to business ownership with the Young Entrepreneur University, a program for teenagers where he would "teach students the concepts and fundamentals of building a business, based on the idea of innovating for people.
"Through a digital curriculum of online courses, he plans to make an "international program teaching youths (around the world) how to innovate" in new businesses.

STEM Leadership Means Better Education for Thousands
Within a year, Gayla Turner McMichael led outreach events engaging more than 13,000 students, including 2,800 at the elementary level, 2,200 in middle school, 6,400 attending high school, and 1,400 in post-secondary situations. Her leadership efforts translate into better access to higher education for thousands.
McMichael is outreach and diversity program manager for the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Research, Development, and Engineering Center (AMRDEC). She is the 2015 BEYA winner for Promotion of Education.
"If AMRDEC is to continue to be viewed as the premier aviation and missile research organization for providing war-fighting capabilities to the brave military men and women who support our nation, it will be in large part due to the commitment and dedication of Ms. McMichael," says William A. Colson, director, Systems Simulation, Software, and Integration.

2015 BEYA Winner Creates a Truly Global STEM Community
When Debra Coleman, 2015 BEYA winner for Community Service, isn't leading her team to ensure electrical requirements are met for passenger seats, she is highly visible as a driver of science, technology, engineering, math (STEM) initiatives.Her pride and joy are kids in science and engineering.
Debra arrived at Boeing to learn the basics of airplane wiring, rising to lead senior electrical systems engineer for the 737 Electrical Seat organization within the Aircraft Interiors group at Boeing Commercial Airplanes. Now she is a senior electrical systems engineer at The Boeing Company.
In October 2010, she founded Kids in Science and Engineering (KISE) at Kimball Elementary School in Seattle to introduce K-5th-grade students to math, science and engineering principles. KISE includes summer school and calls on parental involvement.
